Who and what are we?
This project was started as a response to the lack of safe and inclusive spaces for individuals who, like ourselves, have often felt marginalized and unheard. Recognizing the unique struggles and experiences faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, we wanted to create a digital refuge where people of all gender identities and sexual orientations could come together to connect, share and support one another.
The name "The Void" represents not only the challenges and isolation that some LGBTQ+ people may feel, but also the potential for self-discovery and transformation in that space. Our goal was to build a community where individuals could be their authentic selves, find acceptance, and fill the void with understanding, friendship and empowerment.
Through this server we hope to foster a sense of belonging and unity, and amplify the voices of those that have been silenced in the past.
